Do I have to make an appointment?
Although you are always welcome in our store, ideally we would suggest you make an appointment for your convenience and to avoid any delays!
How much does the service cost?
Iris photography starts from 49 €, printed on high quality photographic paper 20×20 cm.
The final price depends on the number of irises to be photographed and the printing materials you choose – photo paper, canvas, metal print or Acryluxe.

At what age can children participate in iris photography?
The appropriate age for iris photography is from 5 years old and above.
This is because the child needs to stand still for a while and look at the camera lens.
However, if the parent or guardian feels that the child can cooperate and follow our instructions, we can adapt the procedure to younger ages.
How long does the shoot take and when will I receive the product I have chosen?
The photography process is quite fast, about 2-5 minutes per person.
Depending on the material you choose, delivery can take from one to two weeks.
Can I wear contact lenses during the photo shoot?
We recommend that you remove your contact lenses during the photo shoot to ensure the best possible result.
Is the iris photography procedure safe?
Yes, the procedure is safe.
We use special equipment and lights designed to be user-friendly.
We make sure to follow all necessary precautions to ensure that iris photography is done in complete safety and comfort.
Is my iris photo suitable for biometric identification?
The final image of the iris is a work of art and not an accurate representation, so it cannot be used for biometric identification.
How many people can be photographed in one session?
In one session we can photograph up to 5 people.
Whether it’s couples, families, siblings or friends, we can capture everyone’s irises and create unique works of art.
Can you place multiple irises in a single print?
Our prints support up to 5 irises in the same image, but we can discuss other options if you wish.
In what dimensions and materials do you offer the iris prints?
At “The Iris Project” we offer size options from 20 to 150 cm, in square, rectangular, panoramic and round shapes. You can choose between prints on Hahnemühle photographic paper, canvas, metal print and acrylic (Acryluxe and acrylic block). So you can choose the material that best suits your preferences and the decoration of your space.
